Spyro Enter the Dragonfly GameCube Review

As a die-hard Spyro fan, I'm thrilled to share my thoughts on the GameCube version of Spyro Enter the Dragonfly. While some may prefer the PS2 version, I think this iteration has its own unique charm.

Firstly, the graphics are great for the GameCube, considering it didn't have the same level of power as the PS2. However, there's no denying that some parts could be clearer. But overall, the visuals still look fantastic and don't detract from the gameplay experience.

One area where the GameCube version shines is in its soundtrack. The music is catchy and enjoyable, even if it's not everyone's cup of tea. I found myself humming along to the tunes as I played through the game.

In terms of length, Spyro Enter the Dragonfly offers good value for your money. The game takes a while to complete, especially if you're aiming to collect all the secrets and bonuses. It's also nice to see that the developers have made an effort to include elements from the classic Spyro games.

On the downside, there are some annoyances to be found. The dragonflies can get in the way at times, and the storyline is a bit dull. Additionally, some fans may feel that the graphics sacrifice too much compared to the PS2 version.

Despite these minor flaws, I'd still recommend Spyro Enter the Dragonfly on GameCube over the PS2 version if you don't mind the slightly reduced graphics and can overlook the occasional glitch. With fixed bugs and a decent soundtrack, this game is an excellent addition to any Spyro fan's collection.
